Better Browsing

The MIPAC Pty Ltd website has been developed using HTML, graphics, and Java Script. We believe the web is an empowering environment for our readers and we have designed the site for an optimal user experience under realistic conditions on the web.

Monitor Settings

Our web site is best viewed at a minimum screen resolution is set at 800 x 600 pixels, 16 bit colour or above. A higher screen resolution reduces the size of items on your screen and increases the size of your desktop.  You can see more!

Your monitor and display adapter determines whether you can change your screen resolution. Before you change any settings check 'Help' features available with your pc and you should know the capabilities of your monitor and computer.

  • A High Colour setting will display over 65,000 colours.
  • A True Colour setting will allow over 16 million colours.
  • Settings that display a large number of colours require a significant amount of your computer's processor resources.
  • Your monitor and display adapter determine the maximum number of colours that can appear on your screen.

All desktop computers with other operating systems (for example Linux, Solaris, Apple Macintosh) have different methods of changing colours and screen resolution. Again Help features should be explored prior to making any changes.

Changing Monitor Settings - Windows 95/98/2K

If you are using Windows 95/98/2K, you can view and change your monitor settings. Open 'Control Panel' - click the 'Start' button -> then 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'. Alternatively, right mouse click on a blank area of the desktop and click the 'Display Properties' dialog box. Once you are in the Control Panel, double click the 'Display' icon. From the 'Settings' tab, you will see that you can change your screen resolution & colour depth.

Remember, before changing any settings check 'Help' features available with your pc and know the capabilities of your monitor and computer.

Your current monitor settings are-

 Screen Width in Pixels
 Screen Height in Pixels
 Colour Bit Depth
